Key Job Responsibilies:
1. Execution and monitoring of Daily Operation
2. Ready to work 24x7 environments along with the different internal and external teams
3. Initial investigation for all failures/issues
4. Create, monitor and complete work requests (as per severity) through ticketing systems and assign work requests to the appropriate departments.
5. Supporting maintenance activities and production events
6. Communication to Bussiness ( head up of issues, bussiness impact, operational mitigation plan,resolution plan, statues and escalation procedure)
7. Ensure all SLA are met by ensuring all daily deliverables are met as well as monitoring any high risk jobs/cycles closely in order to mitigate any negative impact as well as sending alerts, statuses or escalations if the situation should require.
1. Linux operating system and shell scripting - intermediate
2. troubleshooting skills of Web-Servers (Apache & HTTP) - Beginner intermediate
3. Database (MySQL) - Beginner or intermediate
4. Knowledge of SS7/SIGTRAN
5. Understanding of VMWare is added advantage
6. ability to create and update documentation
7. capable of performing a broad range of technical functions
8. ability to interact with multiple teams simultaneously (Operation, development, network, security, infrastucture)
9. Experience working in service oriented environment
10. ITIL framework understanding will be added advantage
