You will:

Work as part of a team to achieve defined recruitment targets from a region by managing the admissions process for that region and providing outstanding customer service. In addition to the administration of admissions, screening, assessment, equivalencies processing and use of information systems, and ensuring all aspects comply with both CQUniversity policies and procedures and meet the requirements of all external compliance regulations, you will build an expert knowledge of your primary regions of responsibility and drive sales through the admissions funnel through to enrolments.

You are responsible for:


Working within established processes, procedures and parameters, assess and process applications for admission within the required timeframes; taking ownership for the applications assigned to you and within your region.


Processing admissions related data entered into the University’s International Admissions Management System and the University’s Student Management System/s and perform high level application processing with an emphasis on how we can admit a student rather than how we exclude them.


For students intending to study in Australia - generation/variations for Confirmation of Enrolments (COE), and accurate recording of student information, program, duration, OSHC and tuition fees.


Developing an expert knowledge of the qualifications and education system for your region and providing feedback on changes or developments in the region Develop strong knowledge of a secondary region’s education system and qualifications and provide admissions support to other members of the admissions team, in Indonesia and Australia as required.


Managing the quality and consistency of all applicant records/data to ensure it is compliant, complete and current and review, recommend and initiate improvements to the admissions process.


Maintaining a specialist knowledge of relevant legislation or compliance relating to the ESOS Act, DHA regulations, National Code, Privacy legislation and relevant legislation of countries where applicable.


Maintaining a specialist knowledge of relevant legislation or compliance relating to the recruitment, admission and enrolment of students in Indonesia


Under the instruction of International Admissions Coordinator and relevant management undertaking recruitment and conversion activity to help the pod achieve its enrolment targets, including working closely with partners and agents. 


Undertaking other duties as requested including administrative support for the recruitment and admissions team


Promoting, contributing and modelling a high-performing customer service culture, ensuring all activities completed meet statutory and regulatory requirements of CQUEBTC.

·      Demonstrated understanding and knowledge of relevant legislative, governance and quality assurance regulations.

·      Expert knowledge of international student admissions and/or recruitment practices.

·      Knowledge in the use of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).


·      Fluency in another language would be highly desirable.

·      Completion of a degree without subsequent relevant work experience; or completion of an associate diploma and at least two years subsequent relevant work experience; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.


·      Demonstrated ability to liaise with people from various cultural backgrounds, exhibit cultural awareness and respect cultural differences at all times and at all levels.

·      High level of communication skills; and the ability to communicate with people at all levels including demonstrable ability to close sales.

·      Using analytical skills and attention to detail including an ability to evaluate and interpret complex data and make admissions assessments.

·      Ability to work under pressure without compromising quality of output including high level of attention to detail.

·        Demonstrated team, planning, organisational and time management skills with an ability to work independently with limited supervision and guidance in a busy office environment.

Other job requirements

  • Working non-standard hours associated with maintaining international relationships and undertaking some domestic or international travel may be a requirement of this role, within the conditions outlined in the Enterprise Agreement.
  • Appropriate work rights for Indonesia.
  • Ability to obtain a relevant Visa to travel to Australia from time to time.


  • Work experience as an Admin at univerversity is higly regarded
  • Excellent verbal and written communication in English
  • All S1 degree welcome to apply
